So, I brought them home and wallpapered them. Yes, I'm serious. I have gotten some really nice contemporary wallpaper books from my local Menards, and I love to use it for decoupaging. The best part, when your local hardware store cycles out their wallpaper books, they typically sell a book for $1!!!!!!!!!! Do you know how many projects you can make out of 1 book?!??!!? And the nice thing is that when you're doing groupings such as this, the wallpaper books typically have the same style in multiple colors, so its a nice way to mix things up.
So, I picked out a geometric pattern (I heart geometrics, squares, circles, rectangles, I mean it just doesn't get any better!), slathered on some modge podge and there ya have it.
I'm pretty pleased with the results, and it comes in handy to hang your keys/purse when you walk in the door. It saves me from racing around the house like a chicken with my head cut off, 5 minutes before an appointment tearing the furniture apart looking for my keys :)
What a great change!! I really like them. Great job!

That is such a great idea! I keep seeing those plaque/hooks, but I never like the designs I find - this would be the perfect way to make them my own! Thanks!
