Top o' the morning to ya...

So, I'm not a huge "decorate for the holidays" type of person, but I really like my front door...and I've never had a front door that I like before. So I might as well decorate it right?!?!?

St. Patricks Day is not a big deal for me, aside from the arrival of Shamrock Shakes, it comes and goes every year and I never notice. Until the Shamrock Shakes are gone...

So I decided to start with a foam core from the dollar tree, and some green feather boas (also from the dollar tree). From there I embellished with some book pages, green ink, and some scrap fabric. I love it and my favorite part is that I used straight pins for the WHOLE thing......no glue gun...which means NO BURNS!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!

So, here's my rendition of a St. Patty's day wreath..

Now if you'll excuse me, my shamrock shake is melting, and I need to suck it down before my family realizes I brought one in the house...

  1. fun idea!! I was just thinking this morning that I should maybe take the christmas wreath off the back door. This will be easy and fun to do!
