But, she did have a great idea for a sweet little bird feeder I wanted to share with ya'll. See, crafting is genetic...as evidenced by this post :)
My mom took a cute little cup and saucer, and affixed them with some heavy duty adhesive. Then she took a bamboo stick (out of a pack that came from the dollar store...and not to mention the Dollar store has some CU-TE cups and saucers as well!!!!!!) and a nut, and glued them to the bottom of the saucer
And VOILA, instant elegant bird-feeder. Isn't it adorable?!?!?
Would have never thought of that. I love it very cute.
ReplyDeleteNow you've got me craving garage sale season even more--so I can find some cute cups and saucers to make a few of these! How adorable would they be lining a walkway? Your mom is very clever!
ReplyDeleteLove these little feeders!! I have been wanting to make a few myself-
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the look of it but around here the squirrels would have a field day!
ReplyDeleteI have become a follower and invite you to do the same!

ReplyDelete(I can just imagine Cai and Peter playing "discus" and launching that across their yard into the neighbors . . . :)
Terrific! I would have thought you needed to drill the cup and saucer. So glad to know there is an easier way!
ReplyDeleteBe still my heart, that is so cute!
